Rosemary
This herb is rosemary. Originating in the Mediterranean, this herb is known to have an incredible amount of health benefits! Rosemary contains antioxidants and important nutrients that are known to promote better immune response against disease and overall health of the consumer. Due to its multifunctionality, it is used for both culinary and medicinal purposes. For cooking purposes, it can be used in preparation of dishes containing vegetables or potatoes, or even soaked in hot water to create a beautiful tea commonly seen in its home region of the Mediterranean. Regarding its medicinal uses, rosemary contains rosmarinic acid, a powerful antioxidant known for its incredible antibacterial and immune boosting properties.

Basil
This herb is basil. This herb originates in the tropical regions of Asia. Like rosemary, basil is known to have incredible restorative properties for the body. High in Vitamin A and Vitamin K, basil can help with strengthening of the bones, skin, vision, and so much more. Basil can be used in cooking, for the creation of essential oils, and for medicinal purposes. Basil tea is known to relieve nausea, and some of the oils extracted form it contain strong antibacterial properties (for example, eugenol).



Mint
This herb is mint. Mint is another herb that can be used to aid in nausea, and it has many other powerful effects on the digestive system. The aroma given off by mint stimulates the salivary glands to secrete digestive enzymes that help speed up digestion and promote the settling of the stomach. Along with digestion, mint has been studied for its soothing effects on skin and burns, its relaxing properties for asthmatic patients, and many other medical applications across the body. This herb is widely used beyond medicine though! There is a huge variety of uses ranging from flavoring in ice cream, to breath fresheners, to the isolation of the oils for use in cosmetics and even medicines.
